The family of the citizen Saeed Suleiman Al -Badi lives in the hope of finding her son Ahmed (19 years old) alive, in the Beach of Al -Mughaisil in the city of Salalah, after his older brother Youssef (23 years old) was drowned, the day before yesterday, and searches are still ongoing until now by teams Coast and rescue in the Sultanate of Oman, despite difficult climatic conditions.

Saeed Al -Badi, 49, said, and works as an employee of the Al -Foua Dates Company, that “my sorrow for the death of my son Youssef is a great calamity that shook the pillars of the family, and we do not know the fate of my second son Ahmed, who was accompanied by him in Salalah, and we are waiting with great concern the news of finding Ahmed alive Although indicators do not call for optimism in light of the lack of data confirming that it may be stuck in any area of ​​the beach.

He continued: “My children, Youssef, Ahmed and Ibrahim insisted on going to Salalah for the purpose of hiking, despite my warning to them not to travel and stay next to us at home in the Al -Zahir area in Al Ain.”

The Omani News Agency reported, the day before yesterday, that five people had a drowning accident on the Beach of Al -Mughisil in Salalah in Dhofar Governorate, and some people managed to save three people, an Omani and Emirati citizen.

The agency added that the rescue teams from the civil defense, ambulance and the coast guard, with the support of a plane from the Royal Air Force Omani, moved immediately, after receiving the communication to search for other Emirati citizens, where one of them was found and transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah for treatment, but he died. , While the team’s efforts are still ongoing to search for the other person.

Al -Badi explained that Youssef is an employee of a company that helped in Abu Dhabi, he intended to apply for the sermon of a girl after the Eid holiday, and that the issue was under consultation between family members to choose the appropriate time to complete the matter, while Ahmed passed the tests prescribed to join the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi, affiliated to ADNOC, to study Petroleum Engineering, after spent a period of study in higher technology colleges.

The father added that the family was forced to hide the news from (Umm Youssef) until the search for the best way to avoid the consequences of the shock, and when her brother Mubarak informed her of the news, she lost consciousness, and after she woke up, she was waiting for the news of finding Ahmed alive.

Al -Badi narrated the details of what happened to his two sons, saying that they were left to Salalah in the early hours of Friday with their cousin’s car, “Omar Shaheen”, who accompanied them on the trip with (Ibrahim – 22 years) and their cousin Omar Mubarak, adding, “Sorni worried about them before they went to Salalah, and in vain she tried to persuade them to abandon the trip, but they asked me to believe in the judiciary and destiny in the event of any harm to them.

He added, “I was reassuring them on the phone, and on the day of the accident, I spoke phone with Youssef and Ibrahim after leaving my workplace, and they assured me that they were in a good situation, and after my return to the house, I tried to call again on the phone of Ahmed unleaded, and I received a phone call from Angali, Mubarak Khalfan, it benefits me for the drowning of Joseph, and the loss of Ahmed in Salalah.

The father continued, it seemed very harsh, especially since I was suffering from heart disease, and I tried to look normal at home so that family members did not feel what happened, and I consulted with some parents about the appropriate way to inform (Umm Yusuf) of the news, and I calculated my two sons Youssef as a martyr, and I wished to be done Finding his brother Ahmed until we bury them together, and we are not tormented more not to find him, so things become difficult for my family. He continued, there are extensive contacts with some family members in Salalah to surround the ongoing efforts to retrieve Ahmed, and we do not know what will happen.
