The Ministry of Education announced the implementation of the “Alf platform” in government schools, with the aim of developing an Emirati digital educational system, capable of absorbing the changes and influences left by the “Corona” pandemic, and transforming the challenges facing education systems from a distance to promising opportunities.
Alf Education Company will launch its innovative platform “Alf platform” for the current academic year, with 196 schools in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, as part of a time context that extends in stages that ends next December.
The Ministry and the “Alf for Education” company aims to supply the educational system with the latest findings of digital education, and to employ artificial intelligence and huge data, to enhance the prospects for smart education in the Emirates, based on prominent educational services for students that meet their individual needs, and instill in them commitment to their community.
It is scheduled to use the “Alf platform” for education in the teaching of six academic subjects: Arabic, mathematics, science, Islamic education, social education and English, from the fifth to ninth grade, so that this expansion benefits 40 thousand additional students.
Academic programs will be provided to help teachers and students implement self -learning strategy.
Alf will hold monthly virtual seminars to cover the platform’s advantages, and highlight the practices that give additional momentum the educational process.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al -Hammadi, stressed that there are practical steps being taken in a studied time and strategic period, taking into account the needs and requirements of each stage in the education process in the country.
