Yesterday, the Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court ruled the execution of the second accused in the case of the killing of lawyer Ahmed Al -Dhanhani (54 years), and the life imprisonment of both the first defendant in the case (R.H.), the wife of Al -Dhanhani, and the third defendant (AS), a driver A Pakistani, on charges of killing the victim, premeditated and surveillance, and the verdict pronounced the criminal judge, Counselor Sameh Shaker, in the presence of the two members, Counselor Khaled Al -Shennawi, and Counselor Hisham Talaat, and as soon as the ruling was pronounced, the first defendant was injured, the victim’s wife, in a severe nervous condition, and she started screaming inside the courtroom .
The court considered that the second defendant is a chief partner in the execution of the murder, for throwing the victim from above Wadi Ham, south of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, after participating with the first accused, the wife of the victim, in carrying out the crime, and the cooperation of the third accused, the driver.
The court did not take the assignment of the victim’s sons (11 young men and women) from the request for retribution and forgiveness for their mother, and the rest of the accused, as it was stated in the accusation of the Public Prosecution that the defendants committed the murder of the victim with premeditation.
Since referring the case file from the Public Prosecution to the Criminal Court, during last June, the court heard the defense lawyer for the victim’s wife, who requested the cancellation of the retribution limit, and her innocence from the murder, and the use of compassion in the issuance of the ruling, after the parents ’abdication of retribution from Their mother, as the lawyer for the defense of the second and third defendants called for the cancellation of the limit of retribution from them, based on the text of the legal article, which indicates that if the retribution limit is canceled from the main accused in the case, the limit includes the rest of the accused in the case.
The murder of the lawyer, Ahmed Al -Dhanhani, shook public opinion in the Emirate of Fujairah, last year, his residence, as it is one of the most prominent lawyers in the emirate.
Ras Al Khaimah Police received a report, in May last year, stating that a person was found in a vehicle below Wadi Ham, in the Dafta area, south of Ras Al Khaimah, as it was found through criminal investigations and the autopsy that the victim was not subjected to an ordinary traffic runaway accident, but he died as a result He was killed.
The Ras Al Khaimah Police report indicated that the forensic report proved that the victim was subjected to various injuries as a result of his fall in the valley, including a fracture of the nose, multiple abrasions and bruises in the head, and separate parts of the body, in addition to two fractures in the spine in the neck area.
The report added that the search, investigation and information collection operations revealed that Al -Dhahani was killed by his wife, partner and driver, and the report continued that the wife agreed with her citizen partner to give him 100 thousand dirhams, and the driver is 10 thousand dirhams, in exchange for participating in the killing of her husband.
The report stated that the wife of the victim and her partner had numb the victim and injected him with three insulin injections to paralyze his movement before the crime was executed, as the wife on the day of the crime put a number of sleeping tablets that her first partner brought in a drink and food of the victim, to keep him in a state of weakness and paralyzing his ability to resist .
He continued that the accused placed her children in a bedroom on the upper floor of the house, closed all windows and curtains, turned off the lights of the house, and enabled her first partner to enter the house through one of the side doors, and entered with her partner the Al -Dhahani room while he was sleep , And the wife made an injection of an insulin dose, then the citizen partner gave him another injection, until his strength and stopping the movement.
The report pointed out that the accused and her partner and the Asian driver carried the fennel, put it in the council’s room, and kept it inside to prove that his death was normal, but the wife asked her partner and the Asian driver put him in a vehicle and get rid of his body by throwing him from a high place in one of the deep valleys.
The report indicated that the citizen partner led the victim’s vehicle, after he was placed in the front seat next to the driver, as the vehicle was stopped at the edge of Wadi Ham, in the Dafta area south of Ras Al Khaimah, and the citizen came down from the vehicle after placing the vehicle in the event of walking forward, to rush Towards the valley and falls on the rocks, and causes fractures in various parts of his body, which led to his immediate death, as a result of his exposure to two fractures in the spine and the neck area.
