The father of the victim of the “Ajman accident”: The perpetrator was prepared for a whole family

The Iraqi resident, Saad Idan, the father of the child Mustafa (nine years), who was killed in an accident in a vehicle for a restaurant in Ajman, a few days ago, said that “he trusts the just judiciary in the state, to judge the perpetrator of the accident with what he deserves.”

He added to «Emirates Today» that (Mustafa) is the second to lose him, after the departure of his son who bears the same name in his country, “I named my second son Mustafa on the name of his brother, who died in Iraq at the age of 19.”

And Al -Aidan, who is a father of no daughters and two children, one of them the late Mustafa, rejects “media reports that talked about the injury of the accident in the epilepsy,” noting that the reports of the Public Prosecution and its investigations and the decisions of the just Emirati judiciary are the separation in the decision, and not anything before that, criticizing the lack of Putting iron barriers in front of restaurants with glass facades, especially since this incident is the second of its kind in the emirate in less than four months.

He continued: “I am waiting for the judiciary, because the perpetrator of the accident was prepared for a whole family, because the child and his sisters are still in the hospital suffer from serious fractures and injuries.”

He explained: «My daughter (10 and five years) suffers psychologically and healthy. The large has fractures in her feet and bruises in the head, while the second suffers from a break in her shoulder and bruises in the head and hands.

For his part, the public lawyer, Tariq Al -Rashed, said that the Public Prosecution is awaiting the issuance of a medical report on the accused’s health condition, as well as reports on the status of the affected people, which vary according to the punishment that will be decided against him.

Al -Rashed added to «Emirates Today» that “there is a recommendation from a treating doctor to prevent the accused from driving, according to what the accused made in the investigation,” noting that the Public Prosecution will be confirmed, according to medical reports, if the accused actually suffers from epileptic seizures that led to the accident. Or from other things.

He indicated that the punishment can include withdrawing the license, imprisonment and fine, as well as the material compensation for the affected people, stressing that “the period of investigations into the Public Prosecution depends on the issuance of the medical report, and as soon as it is received, the case will turn to the court.”

Al -Rashed continued, “The accused has a report that talks about the existence of an electrical charge in his head, but we want to know whether the cause of the accident is a case of epilepsy or another reason, but in all cases he is responsible for this incident.”
