The “Geniuses of the Arabs” are writing new chapters of civilization, science and creativity

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, honored the second batch of award winners for the second session of the “Geniuses of the Arabs” initiative, which includes 6 categories: “Medicine, Engineering and Technology, Economics, Natural Sciences, Architecture, design, literature and the arts.

His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “Today we honored the “Geniuses of the Arabs” at the Museum of the Future. We are proud of them and the pioneering contributions they have made to science, literature, culture, economics, medicine, arts, urbanism, and the global knowledge community. With their efforts, the Arabs are writing new chapters. Of civilization, science and creativity.”


His Highness continued: “We congratulate the winners of the “Geniuses of the Arabs Award 2024”: Professor Osama Al-Khatib from Aleppo, Syria, in the engineering and technology category… and the Jordanian engineer Sahl Al-Hiyari in the architecture and design category… and Professor Yasmine Belkaid from Algeria in the medicine category… and the Iraqi artist Dia al-Din al-Azzawi. In the Literature and Arts category… and Jordanian Professor Omar Yaghi in the Natural Sciences category… and Algerian Professor Yassin Ait For the economics category.
