Al-Arabi team succeeded in topping the first division standings after the end of the tenth round, but this lead seems fraught with risks due to the confusion in the match schedule, which led to the emergence of a disparity in the number of matches played by the clubs, and began to manipulate the team’s ranking ladder.

Al Arabi leads with 22 points from 9 matches, ahead of Al Dhafra, second with 20 points from eight matches, but did not suffer any loss, followed by Dibba with 19 points from eight matches, while the Emirates and United clubs come in fourth and fifth places and have played 10 matches.

The matches of the last round resulted in Al Arabi defeating Al Jazirah Al Hamra (2-0), Emirates defeating Gulf United (2-1), Dibba defeating Gulf FC (5-2), United defeating Al Fujairah (5-3), and Masfout tied. With Al-Hamriyah (1-1), and Majd tied with Al-Dhaid with the same score. Below are a number of scenes after the conclusion of the tour.

Al Dhafra without loss

Al Dhafra is unique in that it is the only team that has not suffered a loss throughout the past rounds, achieving 6 victories and two draws, and a fateful match awaits it with Hatta, postponed from the previous rounds, and winning it will lead it to return to the top spot.

Competition teams

The competition to obtain the two early promotion cards was limited to the Al Arabi, Al Dhafra and Dibba teams, which are 6-8 points behind the teams chasing them, namely United and the Emirates.

Falcons results

The Emirates team “Falcons” lost 16 points during the 10 matches it played, which is an unprecedented record for the team throughout its participation in the first division for 20 seasons.

Tough loss

The Fujairah team suffered a severe loss against United at home and in front of its fans (3-5), in a rare result for the team that still has the chance to join the competing teams.

Coach changes

The past rounds witnessed the presence of six national coaches in the technical area, while four clubs changed their coaches, namely: Al Arabi, United, Emirates, and Al Hamriya, while the Gulf United team is still led by assistant coach, Rawan Azakmir.

Performance variation

The past rounds revealed the instability of the performance and technical performance of a number of league teams, most notably Al Dhaid, which was able to beat the Arab leader and fifth-ranking UAE, while tying with teams at the bottom of the standings such as Majd and Gulf FC.

Coach Al-Saadoun

Al-Arabi’s Bahraini coach, Issa Al-Saadoun, succeeded in investing in the players’ technical conditions and mental readiness, and led the team to the top, despite being a replacement for coach Badr Tabib, who left the team after two rounds.
