The “Qur’anic Park” in Dubai received 555,357 visitors since its opening in early 2019 until yesterday, providing them with an exceptional experience in an atmosphere that combines history, nature and technology.

Dubai Municipality explained that the “Qur’anic Park” is one of the newest cultural and recreational parks in the emirate, and is considered an Islamic landmark because it embodies the masterpieces of the prophetic miracles mentioned in the Qur’an. The park, which is located in the Al Khawaneej area, includes small gardens that include the Islamic Garden, the Desert Garden, the Andalusian Garden, and the House. Glass, Cave of Miracles, and Moses Lake.

She pointed out that the project’s philosophy is to design sections of orchards planted with plants mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, as the number of orchards is 12 in addition to a greenhouse, planted with 51 types of plants mentioned in the Qur’an, including bananas, pomegranates, olives, watermelon, grapes, Figs, garlic, leeks, onions, corn, lentils, wheat, cumin, ginger, tamarind, basil, zucchini, cucumber, etc., in addition to A shaded seating area distributed along the sides of corridors with beautiful patterns and colors that match the spirit of the place.

The greenhouse, which contains plants that live in special conditions, uses a smart fog system that was designed specifically for the greenhouse, and is connected to a highly efficient program that releases fog in different areas according to specific times for visitors throughout the day.

The park also includes the “Cave of Miracles,” which includes seven miracles mentioned in the Qur’an using interactive technology, including the miracle of the Prophet Moses (the lake), which shows how the sea was divided into two parts to escape from its enemies, in addition to uniquely designed solar trees that celebrate Islamic art and engineering and are specially designed. For the Qur’anic Garden.

The total area of ​​the garden is 64 hectares, and it includes shaded seating areas, an area designated for children, sports facilities, stores selling plants and herbs mentioned in the Qur’an, wheelchairs, and special parking for people of determination.

The Qur’anic Garden is open from Saturday to Thursday, starting from eight in the morning until ten in the evening, and on Friday, it opens its doors from three in the afternoon until three in the evening. Visitors can enter the garden for free, while a fee of five dirhams is paid to enter the Cave of Miracles and the Glass House. Entry is also free. Free for children, people of determination and those accompanying them.

The municipality confirmed that the Qur’anic Garden is a pioneering modern cultural project that emerges from the cultural and scientific achievements of Islam, inventorying and collecting plants mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Sunnah, and introducing visitors to the types of plants, their importance, and their scientific and nutritional value, indicating that the message of the Qur’anic Garden is to contribute to strengthening the cultural and scientific roles. For Islamic heritage. She continued: “The Qur’anic Garden seeks to build bridges of intellectual and cultural communication with various cultures, religions and peoples, by examining the cultural achievements of the Islamic religion in the field of plant ecology, preparing a scientific database for plants of the Arab environment, and to raise the efficiency of performance in the fields of agricultural production and scientific research.”

It is worth noting that Dubai Municipality has added a translation service in English and Urdu, through free headphones for cave users to wear and benefit from, as part of developing and improving its services provided to the community, to allow them to further enjoy all its facilities.

“Smart Guide”

Dubai Municipality said that it has designed a smart application (Quranic Park), which is a platform that provides a smart guide service, which relies on Google Maps to guide and direct the visitor to the various facilities of the Qur’anic Park, with the ability to choose one of the eight available languages ​​(Arabic). (English, Hindi, Chinese, French, Spanish, Russian and Italian). The “smart guide” provides a description of the park, tourist attractions, facilities and a detailed map. The application also helps the visitor learn and understand more about the scientific facts of the plants mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, in addition to determining the place where he left his car when entering the park by saving the location.
