The UAE continues to consolidate its position as a leading global center in the field of technology and digital infrastructure, benefiting from huge investments in the sectors of communications, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, which enhances its readiness to keep pace with the global digital transformation and accelerate the digital economy.

The report showed that the country advanced by 34 degrees in the Human Capital Index, moving from 44th to 10th place. The UAE achieved first place in Asia and the Arab world in this indicator, which reflects the efforts made to pay attention to national competencies and provide them with the necessary skills to deal with the era of rapid digital and technological transformations.

The country has strengthened its leadership position as an incubator for new emerging and digital companies, by combining a large customer base with an advanced digital infrastructure, which has accelerated the growth of companies’ businesses and harnessed the best digital and innovative practices to enhance this growth.

In this context, data from the Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy revealed that digital companies in the emirate have a growth rate of about 30%, compared to 15% for the growth of traditional companies in Dubai, as the number of digital companies in Dubai alone – thanks to this acceleration – has reached 120,000 companies.

A report issued by the international “IMARC” group stated that the size of the information technology services market in the UAE is witnessing continuous growth thanks to the continued adoption of the latest technologies, as the size of the market last year reached about 5.3 billion dollars, with expectations that its size will reach 12.5 billion dollars by the year 2032. .
