The UAE participates in the meeting of the “Committee for Follow-up on the Implementation of Gulf Business Decisions”


Her Excellency Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, headed the UAE government delegation participating in the “25th” meeting of the ministerial committee charged with following up on the implementation of decisions related to the joint action of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The agenda of the meeting included following up on the decisions and recommendations of the “24th” meeting of the Committee and the progress in the member states’ implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf through issuing the necessary legislative tools for implementation, in addition to discussing the mechanism for accelerating the ratification of the regulations, laws and agreements approved by the Supreme Council in This matter.

The Gulf Statistical Center’s memorandum was also discussed regarding the progress of work in a study measuring the extent of implementation of joint Gulf action decisions on the ground, the “Gulf Common Market,” the updated timetable for completing this project, and the Center’s recommendations in this regard.

Her Excellency Maryam Al Hammadi said that the UAE is keen, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership, to support everything that would make the cooperation and joint work of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries successful in all sectors, through commitment to implementing all decisions, initiatives and projects that have been approved in various sectors. fields, and in a way that contributes to consolidating the prosperity and well-being of the countries and peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

She added that the state’s efforts contributed to issuing the necessary legislative tools to implement the decisions of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and ratifying the regulations, laws and agreements that are adopted, in enhancing the speed of their implementation, which constituted a constructive contribution and a tremendous boost to the reality of joint Gulf cooperation, which continues its constructive contribution to Promoting the comprehensive and sustainable development process of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al-Muhannadi, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers of the State of Qatar – President of the current session, with the participation of Her Excellency Maryam bint Ahmed Al-Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers – Head of the UAE delegation, and His Excellency Ghanem bin Fadl Al-Buainain, Minister of Social Affairs.
