The National Health Insurance Company (Daman) announced yesterday the opening of five new service offices for the Citizens Health Insurance Program (Thiqa), distributed throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as part of increasing the spread of service locations, to facilitate quick access for customers.
Program Director Ahmed Al Neyadi said that the initiative aims to increase the number of “Thiqa” service centers, which include branches and service offices, to 23 centers covering all parts of the emirate, due to the increase witnessed in the number of “Thiqa” customers, which rose by 10%, compared to last year. Reaching 630 thousand people.
He explained that four offices from the initiative cover the city of Al Ain and its surrounding areas, to serve the eastern region of the emirate, as they were distributed in Al Muwaiji Clinic, Niama Clinic, and Al Ain Municipality offices in Al Khazna and Al Qoua, while the fifth office is located in Al Rahba Hospital, which will serve clients residing in the suburbs of Abu Dhabi and coming from Dubai. . Al Neyadi said that the services available at the “Thiqa” service offices have been developed to be in line with those available in the program’s branches, as customers can reach any of the service offices in the emirate to submit requests to join, renew subscriptions, or replace their lost cards.
For his part, Daman’s Chief Operating Officer, Peter Bauer, said that there are plans in place to develop and enhance the services provided to the company’s customers, as additional online services will be announced soon, in addition to improving operations in branches and service points, so that customers can obtain… on their cards faster.
