Umm Al Quwain Business Women Council organizes the “Harvest of Our Farms” forum


The Business Women Council organized the “Harvest of Our Farms” forum, in the presence of Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain.

The forum was held, the day before yesterday, in cooperation with Umm Al Quwain School, the second and third episodes of girls, and with the support of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber Sustainable agricultural development.

The activities of the forum included an exhibition in which local farms participated to display their agricultural and animal products, including dates, as well as companies specialized in coordination of gardens and agricultural equipment, feed production factories and organic fertilizers, in addition to livestock farms, birds and poultry.

Sheikh Majid bin Saud Al -Mualla estimated the pillars of the forum, planted an agricultural seedlings, and reviewed the products of national farms and household agricultural projects, and also listened to an explanation from the participants on the means of developing the agricultural sector, irrigation and gardening technologies, as well as students’ participation.

For its part, a member of the Federal National Council, Chairman of the Women’s Business Council, Aisha Rashid Litem, confirmed that the forum comes within the framework of the strategy of the Women’s Business Council to support national initiatives and programs, noting that the forum represents a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge in the agricultural field between different groups , Especially school students.
