Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) revealed that the 26th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will witness the participation of a group of companies specializing in green buildings, sustainable cities, and smart, carbon-neutral residential communities that combine luxury and sustainability, and use modern technical solutions to increase their efficiency, preserve natural resources and avoid their depletion, in addition to major local and international companies specializing in energy and water, green development and sustainability, electric vehicles, decarbonization, and the circular economy. DEWA explained that WETEX 2024, which is being held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, from 1 to 3 October 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is an ideal opportunity for companies wishing to invest in the cities of the future.
She pointed out that Damac Properties and Danube Group will showcase their latest products, solutions and technologies that cover all elements of sustainable cities, such as clean and renewable energy, recycling, lighting systems management, electricity and water efficiency devices, waste management and carbon removal, sustainable construction, in addition to smart equipment and systems that enhance flexibility and the ability to adapt to various social, environmental and economic challenges.
