The Wajib Voluntary Association launched an initiative for safe and easy travel, which includes 10 guidelines that the traveler must follow to be an ambassador for his country and give the visiting country the impression of adhering to and respecting the laws.
The Wajib Association stressed that volunteering to disseminate advice and guidance to travelers is a duty for every citizen, as the homeland is a trust in the heart of every citizen, so be an ambassador for your homeland and create a good reputation for your country.
The association explained that the guidelines enable the traveler to enjoy safe and enjoyable travel, so that citizens must, before traveling, register in the “My Presence” service, which makes it easier for the country’s embassies and diplomatic missions abroad to communicate with citizens in emergency situations.
The association stated that travelers should know the numbers of diplomatic missions, embassies and general consulates abroad, noting the importance of being aware of the laws of the host country, such as the ban on hunting, not wearing the niqab in some countries around the world, and providing the correct information to passport and immigration officials at ports of entry.
The association confirmed that travel guidelines also include the necessity of following up on children, not leaving them in public places, avoiding going out individually late at night, using a “taxi” registered at the airport or an official one, and not using incense and smoke in the residence.
The association advised to avoid kissing, hugging, or talking to the children of foreigners and not to carry the bag at an angle so that it is not exposed to theft.
