The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), organized by ADNOC, will kick off in Abu Dhabi, from the fourth to the seventh of next November, under the slogan “Connecting Minds to Achieve a Realistic and Orderly Transition in the Energy Sector.”
ADIPEC 2024 – which this year celebrates the 40th anniversary of its launch – aims to explore the future of the relationship between energy and artificial intelligence, and shed light on the most prominent technologies of the next generation of artificial intelligence solutions that contribute to shaping the future of the energy sector.
2,200 companies will participate in the exhibition, 40% of which are local companies, equivalent to 880 companies, while the expected revenues of the tourism, hospitality and travel sector in Abu Dhabi will reach $350 million.
The President of ADIPEC 2024 and CEO of ADNOC Offshore, Taiba Al Hashemi, said during a press conference held yesterday at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center: “This edition of ADIPEC aims to unify the visions of technology sector leaders from different parts of the world, and harness opportunities. The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2024) brings together more than 40 ministers and more than 200 senior executives and leaders in the energy and technology sectors from across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas, with the aim of enhancing cooperation, innovation and international partnerships to contribute to achieving an orderly, responsible, just and logical transition in… Energy sector.
The Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Chairman of the Conference of the Parties COP28, Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC and its group of companies, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, will deliver the opening speech, followed by a ministerial discussion session entitled “New Global Leaders and the Transition in the Energy Sector,” with the participation of energy ministers from each of the Emirates. India and Egypt, to discuss how emerging economies are reshaping the global energy landscape.
