Two officials in the outlets for the sale of an increase of up to 50% in the demand for food oils during the holy month of Ramadan, noting that the demand is increasing on the cuts of large packages of oils, and confirmed the keenness of the major sales outlets that the oils of various kinds are included in the cuts at rates of up to 60%.
They explained that the demand for healthy food keeps pace with it a rise in the availability of healthy oils free from/or low cholesterol, and those that contain vitamins and omega -3 and antioxidants, in addition to twice repeated oils that contain very small amounts of carbohydrates and total sugars.

There are also dual -use oils, as they are used in food, and in alternative medicine and hair care and face, such as pumpkin seed oil, organic pumpkin that exceeds the price of 100 milliliters of each of 150 dirhams, as well as peanut oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, mustard oil, almond oil, sesame oil, and black seed oil.
Healthy oils
The survey revealed the growing demand for healthy and supported oils, whose commercial signs offered in the markets increased in a significant way, such as oils that contain vitamins, omega -3, free oils from/or low cholesterol, and light oils for frying, which allow less absorption of oil, in addition to those that contain antioxidants, and repeated oils twice, alongside Those that contain very small amounts of total carbohydrates, total sugars, and added sugar.
The field survey also showed that a large number of dining oils are manufactured locally in the UAE, followed by oils of Arab or foreign origin, such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Tunisia, Turkey, Spain and Italy.

“There is an increase of 50% in the demand for food oils in the month of Ramadan, supported by the increasing preparation of food.”
He emphasized that the demand of consumers is rising on the offers of cuts for large sizes of oil packages, given that the best price offers are on packages of large sizes.
For his part, the official in a sales outlet with branches in the emirates of the state, Yaqoub Imran said: “There is an increase in the demand for food oils ranged between 30 and 50%.
He added that the increasing demand for healthy food has been increasing in the number of brands for healthy oils in the market, as well as the tendency of traditional brands to adding healthy types to shopping options.
He pointed out that the brands of local oils acquire a large part of the market, along with those imported from some Arab and foreign countries.
