Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 returns with expanded Al Maryah Island venue

Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 to Gather 35,000+ Delegates Dec 7–10 on Expanded Al Maryah Island

Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 will run Dec 7-10 at Al Maryah Island, hosting 70+ events, 35,000+ participants and 800+ speakers to shape capital allocation.

Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) returns for its fifth edition from December 7 to 10, 2026, bringing together global investors, financial institutions and policymakers to deliberate on the future of capital allocation. The event, hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), will take place on an enlarged Al Maryah Island site to accommodate record demand. Organisers say this year’s theme, “Capital Community — Partnerships‑Powered,” will focus discussions on collaboration across public and private markets to accelerate sustainable growth.

Event Dates and Venue Confirmed

The week-long forum is scheduled for December 7–10, 2026, with ADGM serving as the host authority and Al Maryah Island the primary venue. The island site has been expanded to provide larger exhibition and meeting areas, enabling the organisers to welcome a higher number of attendees and larger delegations. The enlarged footprint is intended to facilitate more bilateral meetings, panel sessions and dedicated spaces for deal‑making.

Projected Scale and Attendee Profile

Organisers anticipate more than 35,000 participants and over 800 speakers across the four days, supported by a programme of more than 70 specialised events. The line‑up includes institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, fintech founders and regulators. Last year’s edition drew similar scale, underscoring ADGM’s ability to attract senior decision‑makers and asset owners from around the world.

Programme Themes and Financial Agenda

ADFW 2026 will place capital allocation and system‑wide partnerships at the centre of its agenda, with sessions on asset tokenisation, private markets, artificial intelligence, trade and energy, real estate and infrastructure. Panels and workshops will examine how new technologies and public‑private cooperation can improve capital efficiency and unlock long‑term investment. The schedule is designed to balance high‑level policy debate with practical sessions aimed at deal origination and market development.

Economic Reach and Market Impact

The forum is expected to amplify Abu Dhabi’s position as a stable financial hub and an anchor for long‑term investment flows. Organisers note that participants in previous editions represented institutions managing assets in excess of $62 trillion, a scale that reflects the forum’s global reach. Abu Dhabi’s financial ecosystem, which includes sovereign wealth and institutional capital exceeding $1.8 trillion, underpins the emirate’s capacity to channel sizeable allocations into regional and international markets.

ADGM Leadership and Organisers’ Intentions

Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market, said the event’s theme reflects the conviction that the future of finance will be shaped by interlinked ecosystems rather than isolated institutions. He described Abu Dhabi’s role as “capital city” and emphasised ADGM’s intention to convene investors, innovators and policymakers to translate dialogue into partnerships that create sustainable economic value. ADGM will coordinate with global strategic partners and industry bodies to deliver a programme tailored to current market priorities.

Track Record and Expected Outcomes

The 2025 edition delivered a strong pipeline of collaboration, registering more than 35,000 attendees, 819 speakers and 82 memoranda of understanding signed during the forum. That edition also featured in excess of 69 strategic partners and showcased cross‑border cooperation across finance, infrastructure and technology. For 2026, organisers aim to build on that momentum by widening opportunities for transactions, formal partnerships and coalition building between public and private actors.

Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 arrives at a juncture of heightened focus on efficient capital deployment and sustained growth, bringing a broad cross‑section of the financial community to the emirate. With an expanded venue, targeted programming and emphasis on partnerships, the week is positioned to advance discussions and catalyse action on how capital is sourced, structured and steered toward long‑term economic priorities.
