The third round of the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship begins today, with the participation of 12 competitors from inside and outside the country.
The tournament, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, will conclude tomorrow on the waters of the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
The championship activities begin with the opening of the maintenance, registration, and technical inspection area at 8 a.m., then the drivers’ meeting and preparation for free trials will be held between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., while the qualifying rounds will be held at 1:30 p.m., leading to the first race competitions.
Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Nasser Al Dhaheri, said that organizing the race over two days gives the competitors the opportunity to enter the atmosphere of international races and how to deal with them, pointing out that hosting the third round enhances Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for marine sports.
