Expanded Bangkok service
The additional daily flight will operate to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, taking flydubai’s Bangkok frequencies to two flights a day. Including the second daily service to Bangkok, flydubai’s Thailand network will total 21 weekly flights across its Thai destinations. Flights to Bangkok will depart from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, offering connections under the carrier’s operating plan with departures two times daily to Don Mueang. The use of Terminal 3 aligns the operations with the airline’s coordinated flows and passenger facilitation procedures at Dubai’s main airport. Flydubai highlighted that the schedule is designed to provide convenient timing for customers transiting through Dubai and for those starting journeys in the UAE.
Codeshare benefits with Emirates
The new rotations will operate within the codeshare partnership between flydubai and Emirates, enabling seamless single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage for many passengers. Under the codeshare arrangement, travellers can expect easier transfers, coordinated schedules, and access to an extended network that the two carriers jointly offer. Flydubai noted that the partnership opens up a combined route map covering more than 240 global destinations through interline and codeshare connectivity.

Alongside the Bangkok increase, flydubai recently launched services to Benghazi in Libya and confirmed plans to resume or introduce additional routes later in the year. The carrier plans to commence flights to Aleppo, Syria, from 20 July 2026 and to begin services to Pokhara, Nepal, from 23 September 2026. These additions form part of a broader network development strategy to serve underserved markets and to restore links where there is clear passenger demand.
