Today, make-up exams for students in grades three to 12 begin in public and private schools that implement the ministerial curriculum.
According to the timetable, the exams will continue until the 20th of this month for students in the educational cycles and tracks, where the 12 students (general, advanced, and elite) will begin their exams in the subjects of physics and social studies.
The Ministry of Education has set general guidelines for exams, targeting those who were absent from the first semester exams with an acceptable excuse, and those who encountered technical problems.
According to the guidelines, the tests are administered on paper for students in the fifth and ninth grades in government schools in person, and on paper and electronically for the fifth grade in the general track, and through real attendance for the ninth grade in the general and advanced tracks in private schools.
Exams for students in the 11th and 12th grades in private schools are held on paper, electronically, and in person.
Grade 12 students (general, advanced, and elite) begin their exams in physics and social studies in two periods, the first for physics from nine to 10:30 a.m. for paper-based, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for electronic, and the second period for the social studies exam begins from 12 noon to two p.m. .
On the second day, English language and chemistry exams are held, while students in the applied track take the applied sciences exam on the first day, and the rest of the subjects take the same dates for the other tracks.
On December 18, students in the applied track will take the mathematics exam, while students in the general, advanced, and elite tracks will take the mathematics exam, and on the 19th of this month, the Arabic language and biology exams will be held, with the exams concluding in Islamic education on the 20th of this month.
