“Dnata” provides aircraft catering services to “TY” in Rome

Dnata, a global company specializing in the field of aviation and travel services, has won a multi-year contract with South Korean TY Airlines to provide high-quality aircraft catering services to the carrier at Rome Fiumicino Airport in Italy.

Dnata stated in a statement yesterday that its teams will prepare and provide more than 80,000 meals annually on board the flights recently launched by the South Korean carrier between Rome and Incheon, as the carrier will connect the Italian capital with South Korea with three weekly flights.

Nicola Citarella, CEO of Dnata Catering and Retail Services in Italy, said: “We are happy with our partnership with TY Airlines in Rome, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with the carrier.”

Dnata provides catering and retail services in Italy to 37 air carrier customers at 11 major airports, with a team of more than 880 hospitality specialists.

In the 2023-2024 fiscal year, dnata’s catering and retail teams provided nearly 12 million meals to more than 140,000 flights in Italy.

TY Airlines is a leading low-cost airline, headquartered in South Korea, and has rapidly expanded its operations throughout Europe.
